Kevin Carter: March 1993 child&vulture

The question that I was asked was if I was the photographer, would I have tried to save the girl. The conflict is, is it human responsibility to save life if possible or to think of the larger numbers of people affected when this photograph was released? My instincts and heart would have clearly forced me to save the girl, but we weren't put into this position. R.I.P. Kevin Carter 1960-1994
